Reinforced Concrete Pipes Australia (RCPA) is a national supplier of vertically cast, thin wall steel reinforced concrete pipe and eCP geopolymer concrete pipe. RCPA believed that its geopolymer pipes have a significantly lower environmental impact compared to its standard concrete pipes. Life cycle assessment is the method to examine the environmental perfomance and substantiate any claims.

As a result, RCPA can confidently claim that its eCP geopolymer pipes on average result in 45% lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to standard reinforced concrete pipes of similar diameter.
