We have worked with SAMI Bitumen Technologies to extend the number of published Environmental Product Declarations of their bituminous products to 28. The EPDs cover polymer modified bitumen products, emulsions and cutback bitumen produced at SAMI’s Australian facilities.
The latest EPDs cover various SAMIGreen products. SAMIGreen is a range of biogenic modified binders that SAMI offers for all asphalt and sprayed seal projects. The carbon emissions (GWP-total) of the SAMIGreen products are significantly lower due to the use of biogenic ingredients, while the technical performance is not compromised.
